The University of Essex is delighted to invite you to a unique event, developed in response to requests from across sectors, that offers practical examples of how to manage significant change effectively. 

Careful management of change is critical to the success of any organisation and can be propelled by a variety of influences: Customer demands, disruptive technology, new trends, competitive products, takeovers, regulation or disruption in markets. For those in the public sector the need to make profound changes to their operations is urgent, compelled by a reduction in funding.

With such an array of forces impacting upon operations, how do you decide what strategic response to take and then enact it – whilst maintaining excellent customer service?

This seminar is an opportunity to hear from business leaders who have done just this – and many times over. It will bring together people from across sectors to share their experience of managing change and rapid innovation.

The seminar will be chaired by Dr Gwyn Jones. Gwyn is an experienced Chairman, Director and Non-Executive Director.  He has worked in IT, Retail, Media, Consulting and Investment, and dealt regularly with Chairmen and CEOs internationally, and with UK Cabinet Ministers.
